The origin of our company name, PaperWrights, is quite simple. Paper is the main material used in all of our projects. Wright is the maiden name of our paternal grandmother who, like so many of our relatives, always encouraged us and thought that we could do anything we set our minds to. We decided to put the two together and PaperWrights was created.
Everything we make is handmade and well thought out. Each piece is individually crafted which allows for slight variations between items. Though we have a variety of items in stock, we also specialize in custom orders. We enjoy working with clients to create pieces that perfectly suit their needs. If we can visualize it, we can make it.
Sara-Jane Carter is the creative force behind PaperWrights. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts degree and has spent most of her career working in a creative field. She enjoys working with paper and explores using it in unconventional ways. Over the past five years she has worked to expand her love of paper-crafting into a business.
